The purpose of the COBIT® 5 Foundation certificate is to confirm that a candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of the COBIT® 5 guidance to be able to understand the enterprise Governance and Management of Enterprise IT, create awareness with their business executives and senior IT Management; assess the current state of their Enterprise IT with the objective of scoping what aspects of COBIT® 5 would be appropriate to implement.

ISACA offers professionals the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge by taking an exam and earning a certificate. Those interested to take the certification exam, exam will be held after two weeks from the COBIT 5 training at SECC premises. The COBIT® 5 Foundation paper based exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, where only one choice can be correct and will be awarded a mark. The pass mark for this examination is 50% (25/50) and the exam duration is 40 minutes, and10 minutes are additional for non-native English speakers. The exam is closed book.
