COBIT® is a framework for the governance and management of enterprise information and technology, aimed at the whole enterprise. Enterprise I&T means all the technology and information processing the enterprise puts in place to achieve its goals, regardless of where this happens in the enterprise. In other words, enterprise I&T is not limited to the IT department of an organization, but certainly includes it.

COBIT® 2019 is the most recent evolution of ISACA’s globally recognized and utilized COBIT framework. 
 
This COBIT® 2019 Foundation Course is intended for current COBIT® 5 Foundation Certificate holders; as well as those new to COBIT and who are interested in achieving the latest foundation certificate.​

None. There are no formal prerequisites; however, it is recommended that participants have experience in the IT governance domain ​

Exam
 

Earners of the COBIT® 2019 Foundation certification have successfully demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge of the COBIT 2019 principles, concepts and methodologies used to establish, enhance and maintain a system for effective governance and management of enterprise information and technology.

 
This COBIT® Foundation exam is designed to test the candidate’s knowledge of the framework as opposed to memorization.
