Software Test Process

Overview

The course covers a wide spectrum of testing process improvement standards and models. Attendees will learn the issues related to each model and how they fit within the larger development lifecycles. The test process is depicted within the most common development lifecycles methodologies such as waterfall, Iterative, agile, V-model, CMMI…etc. The course also discusses some specific testing approaches such as risk-based testing and Test-Driven Development. The course includes a case study on SECC Testing Process Improvement Guide (TPIG).

This course helps attendees understand the most common testing process models and their integration with the development models. After receiving the course, attendees should be able to identify their testing improvement needs and set an improvement path for their teams. By receiving practical case studies, attendees should know how to adopt the modern testing approaches within the setup of a small to medium team as well as large teams.
